Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

Cory O and Raquel Divar

A DJ/producer native to Portland, Oregon, Cory O is a verified master of West-coast bass music, in addition to being one of few Native American producers of the Lakto Sioux tribe. After only five years working in the electronic scene Cory O has held residencies in almost every club in Portland and has opened for an impressive roster of acts including A-Trak, Rusko, Flosstradamus, Skream, Samples, iLL-ESHA, Luminox, Knight Riderz, K- Theory, MRK1, Adventure Club, and BARE. Quality sound design is of utmost importance to him, as his creation process involves sampling from records and using analog synths to make tracks with a clear hip-hop influence. The coming year sees Cory O launching his own West-coast bass label Tomahawk Recordings, pushing his sound towards a brand new style, and pushing himself and his music to a brand new level. His Intergalactic (Tycho Records) reached #16 on Beatport's Glitch Hop Top 100 chart and climbed to #2 on Addictech's Top New Releases and FireWater and SpaceWork (Prime Dub Records) both sat at #1 on Addictech's Top Releases list.

A relentlessly forward-thinking rapper, lyricist, and vocalist known for her space-age themed futuristic rap style, Portland-based Raquel Divar is one of the pioneers of EDM/Rap fusion in both recording and performance. Divar has innovated a style of rap that molds seamlessly over the West Coast Bass music tradition, which includes the EDM traditions of dubstep, trap, and glitch hop – a style that she has coined Future Rap. From the lyrics themselves to the skills behind the vocal style, her word-play is all original.

Raised in San Francisco, since a child Divar’s ears were always saturated with hip-hop and rap. Since 2006 Divar has developed and honed a rap style that combines with and shines over bass music, while maintaining a great degree of lyricism and skill. It is no surprise that she has been heavily influenced by Black Mic, Foreign Beggars, and K Theory. Her first official release “We Are The Rebels” with IHateFun Records produced by El Diablo reached #20 on the Beatport Glitch Hop Chart. The hit “Killa Cali” from the release garnered 16,500+ views on YouTube, and her self-released “Tomahawk Tounge” was one of the first EPs of its kind with the rapper/vocalist as the thread. Moreover, her Low Rider Time Machine Mixtape, complete with Divar’s all original lyrics and vocals, was one of the first mixtapes of its kind to place a female rapper over an entire bass music mix.

Since collaborating with bass producer ONE4ALL on the track “Calling Out,” Divar is currently working on EPs with Tomahawk Recordings and most notably on an EP with San Francisco’s prominent underground bass label MalLabel Music. Divar will be the permeating thread on the EP, with various bass music producers underscoring her rap style – a release that will surely change the face of rap in bass music for good.
