Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

People love music because it is the universal language. We can all connect to the joy, the pain, the raw emotion that is portrayed through music. Amy Jones not only has the desire to harness that emotion, she possesses the driving talent to deliver it soulfully to anyone willing to share the experience. Amy began singing as far back as she can remember. However, she wasn’t truly inspired to write until after she heard her first Joni Mitchell album. This also inspired her to move to California where she eventually wound up in Los Angeles. After moving to the city, Amy met and began writing and arranging with guitarist Tony Pretzello, and with his help she was inspired to complete and produce her debut EP “If You.” Released in July 2011, “If You” is a powerful demonstration of Amy's unique song writing ability, strong and beautiful tone, wide vocal range, and diversity in style. Amy also sings back-up for Grammy-nominated R&B sensation Nikkole with whom she toured across the country in 2008, and together they have opened for Boyz II Men, Macy Gray, Bobby Brown, Jon B, Ambrosia, Blood Sweat and Tears, and The Temptations to name a few. Miss Jones currently plays with her own band around the Los Angeles area and dreams of engaging in a musical conversation with the world.
