Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

Avi Zahner-Isenberg(Born November 5th, 1990) is a guitarist, songwriter and producer from Long Beach, California, he started his band Avi Buffalo when he was 16 after playing for 3 years with a mentorship in blues music from a man named Joel “JoeyJoel” Weinberg, a 50 year old martial arts teacher, massage clinician and bluesmaster. Avi Buffalo made professional recordings with Aaron Embry, and the band was signed to Sub Pop records in Seattle, then they toured for a very long year building up to and for their album. After a break of about 5 months, Avi Zahner-Isenberg began recording and compiling a series of sounds for an album named under his actual name called “Phantom Trannies”, while working on recordings for Avi Buffalo and practicing for their first shows as a new lineup(Sheridan Riley, Barbara Kramer, George Bucio, Doug Brown).
