Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band 1 Photo

It’s been a long journey for four guys from all across the country, but every mile logged is just another step closer to the one common goal. Bringing the music and the passion to as many people as possible. After four years with 200+ shows annually their persistence is obvious and the fan base is growing to show it. When Nathan Dean and the Damn Band hit the road in June of 2008 to promote their second studio album “Addicted to a Good Time”, they had no idea that the tour would never end. And so the Damn Tour was born and continues to thrive. Since releasing their third album “Afterparty” in 2011, the crowds have just gotten larger and more rowdy. Attracted to the powerful live sound and let’s have another round atmosphere there’s no doubt that this band is here to party and will always be the last one standing. With radio play from Arizona to Texas and all the way up into Illinois the audience is listening and they want to come to the after party too!
