Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

Lucy Scholl was in Nashville recording "Blue Eyes", when producer Brandon Metcalf (Second Hand Serenade, Due West, He Is We) asked why she was backing off the high note that should be the song’s climax. "I'd always envisioned it being big," explains Lucy, "but I'd been trained – don't belt, don't be too loud, don't do these things. Some of my training had put me in a box." Still, she knew this note deserved to be huge. So she turned the mic off, tried it alone a few times, then asked Brandon to start rolling tape and started singing. Everyone in the studio went slack jawed. It was a turning point in her career. “That moment in particular,” recalls Lucy with a smile, “made me realize that I can be whoever I envision myself being.” It’s that courage and confidence that are taking this Dallas girl right to the top. Her very first song, “Walk with Me”, became the nationwide anthem for the National Arthritis Foundation’s charity walks. She’s won opening billings with Tyler Ward (listed at #5 on Billboard’s Top Uncharted 100) and The Nashville Tribute Band – all while shuttling back and forth to Nashville to cut her debut EP. In her powerhouse single “Feel Alright”, released March 25, Lucy’s energetic charm and undeniable talent shine through. “Get with Lucy, or get out of her way,” gushes Bart Herbison, Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) President. And we couldn’t agree more. These are just a few of the many reasons Seventy3 Creative is excited to promote this promising young up-and-comer. Be sure to check out her single “Feel Alright” now on iTunes and Spotify.
