Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

How We Met

How We Met 1 Photo

Where We Met, well the boring answer is Los Angeles. However, since these guys individually bounce all over the country the chance of their paths crossing seems almost impossible. When Stephanie is not trying to escape from the realities of life through jet-setting around, she finds peace and a home as a songwriter and vocalist. Her tunes converge the soulful reminisces and an indie acoustic vibe that she hopes you all enjoy. JP is a guitarist of many influences. His tactics include: "quiet, but deadly." Paul is a whimsical musician who fancies the low end of musical harmonies. Influences derive from his myriad experiences, intuition for the human condition, and the different cultures of people he has come across over the years. Oh, and he loves chocolate. Evan grew up laying down the beat to rock and the soulful blues in Texas. That, and touring with an African drum group are building blocks to the unique groove he brings. The bands sound has been described as Alternative Funk, and has brought on the opportunity to stretch each members horizon while stylistically contributing to the sound of which is called, Where We Met.
