Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

A Los Angeles based singer-songwriter who started to sing at the young age of 3. Growing up, she loves to sing Barbara Streisand, MaE Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, and Disney kind of music. She also joined her college school choir as a Soprano. Now she enjoys listening to all kinds of music ranging from Joss Stone, Alicia keys, Muse, Kings of Leon, Jack Johnson, Ray LaMontagne, SOng among others. For years, she wanted to give her music a try but was too afraid to sing in front of people. Her friends insisted on her to sing in karaoke bars to overcome her stage fright and sing Celine Dion and Mariah Carey songs to add up to the challenge. In May of 2010, in places like West Hollywood and Glendale she started going to public karaoke unOl she’s brave enough to do her first singer-songwriter open mic. It was the last Thursday of August in 2010 at Crane’s Hollywood Tavern in Hollywood, CA hosted by Joseph Eid, when she sang her recently wriEen songs “You Have To Go” and “So Inlove”. Alone in the stage just her sweet voice and guitar that she finally realized her dream to sing her own songs in front of people. In the early half of this year she was acOvely busking at the Promenade in Santa Monica. She was met with posiOve response from the street crowd and demanded a CD from her. Although she had lent her vocals on a few of her friends album and a part of an indie movie soundtrack, she has yet to release her own. She is now working on an EP to be released on November.
