Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

After being chosen by many Israeli radio stations as #1 on the charts. the young and very
talented Shira Gavrielov is ready to take over the rest of the world.
Shira was born in the spring of 1989 and has established herself as one of the music
elites in Israel. Shira's father introduced her to music, being part of the Israeli
musical existence himself, but it didn’t take long for her to start her own musical
Wanting to learn as much as she could, Shira got accepted into Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp
all the while studying classical ballet and jazz in The Alma Frankfurt Dance School. But
what really set her apart was her voice.
At 15 she used that voice for the first time on a song entitled "Boy and Girl" (Naar ve
Naara) that charted well enough to garner interest from major Israeli record label, NMC
Israel. But wanting to keep on her own musical journey she decided to record her debut
record on her own terms. But not before expanding her musical knowledge even more.
At 17, she started attending the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, a branch
school of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she was one of the youngest
students ever to be accepted. Shortly after, Shira released "Haboker Ya'ir," from her
debut self-titled album. Shira had another taste of the spotlight, and decided she didn’t
want her journey to end there.
On top of the musical success, Shira was offered to be the first artist signed and
sponsored by the mobile company, Cellcom. Shira was also chosen by fashion company, Pascha
Studios and Cala to be their spokesperson.
Her last record Clear Vision (including the cover of Gnarls Barleys "Crazy") was produced
by top British producers Tom Nichols and Tim Baxter. Her cover became a huge hit in Israel
and abroad. The follow up, "Don't Just Walk on By," which she wrote, gives her fans an
even more intimate look into this prolific artists journey.
Shira wrote a song for Mira Awad last album which was released by Sony Spain.
Shira's CD was chosen to be in the top 200 albums of the year in collage radio stations in
the USA for 2011.
