Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

Tall Days

Tall Days 1 Photo

Tall Days is a New Jersey Rock & Roll duo who's raw, stripped-down, no-frills, blues-rock is reminiscent to the British bands of the early 60's and has drawn comparisons to The Black Keys and "a certain striped Detroit duo". The band's sound spans many different eras, relying on a classic rock & roll sound infused with modern indie-rock. Tall Days is comprised of Graham Hartke on Guitar/Lead Vocals and Joe DeAngelus on Drums. The two met one night at a Jersey diner and quickly became rock soul-mates (while eating disco fries and grilled cheese).

The bands first EP, "Long Time No Talk" & the follow-up, "3 Short Nights" received airplay on stations across the country including WKZQ in South Carolina, which called Tall Days one of the year's best. Tall Days released a full LP in 2011, "Battling the Elements" while continuing to constantly perform in the tri-state area at venues such as Maxwells, The Mercury Lounge & The Knitting Factory.

Tall Days' brand new EP, "Back To The Sound", released in February 2015, showcases the duo's more pop-centric, radio-friendly side. The band recorded with engineer Matt Maroulakos (from the Razor & Tie band Born Cages), to produce a sound that one blogger said, "provide their audience with a raw and up tempo sound, following their predecessors in their quest of rebelling against today’s mainstream blah."

"Tall Days seem to be making a statement by sounding completely different than most of what you'll hear these days, focusing on a raw, stripped-down, intensity, reminiscent of British blues-rock bands from the early 60's."   - Jim Testa

"Wow! You guys are really good! - Jay Mohr

"Pure, inspired indie-bliss!" - The Sentimentalist
