Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

LaLa Deaton is a Nashville-based Americana/country/big band jazz singer-songwriter. LaLa released her first solo album in 2014, an industry-praised, all-original, 1940s-style, big band Christmas album, “Picture Perfect Christmas,” following up with an Americana/country  EP, "Dare," in 2016. She is currently working on a full-length country album as well as another all-original jazz-big band album to be released in 2020.
 
LaLa's music has been featured in film and TV and her songs have been recorded by more than 20 artists across multiple genres. Her music has been included in New York Times Bestselling author Mitch Albom's (Tuesdays with Morrie) Spotify playlist as well as on the website of world-renowned Law of Attraction author and speaker, Bob Proctor. 
 
LaLa has played everywhere from the famed Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to the House of Blues and Molly Malones in LA, to her recent debut on the Grand Ole Opry performing with Charles Esten, (Deacon on the hit tv series, “Nashville”), as well as countless songwriters’ festivals around the country.
