Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

The Cabin Fever

The Cabin Fever 1 Photo

The Cabin Fever is a melodic post-shoegaze rock band from LA founded a short time ago by Sean Moriarty.  After many years of searching, a group of like-minded musicians quickly turned a solo studio project into a meaningful inter-humanoid experience.
Sean Moriarty (guitar/vocals) has played in bands as a drummer and worked as an engineer in studios along side great producers, musicians and artists of our time.  The Cabin Fever is his first time stepping out front to show people the songs usually reserved for his favorite hiding place.  Joel Bedolla (guitar) is from Los Angeles where he played mostly noise and punk rock.  Sean and Joel met at a rehab facility where Sean was a patient and Joel was an employee.  Alvaro Vela (bass guitar) is a sound engineer from Bogota, Columbia where he grew up playing music with his brother and was last in a band called Fragua.  Sean and Alvaro are cousins by marriage.  Tripp Beam (drums) is from NC and Nashville and has been in LA a few years now.  One of his many recent notable gigs was playing a series of elaborate shows at The Fonda with Moby for the Innocents album.
As a band we create to relieve our own fear, anxiety and depression and hope it does the same for those who listen.  The Cabin Fever has recently completed a full length LP called “Enjoy Yourself” out in spring 2016.
