Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

De La Cuesta

Having grown up in small town Florida, Fuller moved to LA with the same dream that brings many to this city: to make it in movies. His foray into filmmaking began at a USC production workshop which compelled him to write and direct a series short films. However, the grind of festival selection and the infrequency of sharing one’s stories via film screenings spurred Ryan to seek more instant gratification. This led him to the life of a songwriter. Fittingly his first songs grew out of movie ideas. These songs were inspired by Native American warriors and the horse country lore of his hometown Ocala, Florida. For the last eight years Fuller has graced many an LA stage, bearing his soul through song, accompanied by a variety of musical friends and, at times, by nothing more than his guitar. The songwriting troubadour became the ideal vehicle for sharing his soul. De La Cuesta was initially formed at the beckoning of songwriting friend and producer, Jacob Summers. Through his insistence that Fuller capture the essence of his youth-laden visions, he began to lay down this set of tracks, unencumbered by outside influences, producing his most pure expression of self to date. These songs mark a maturing, and urban settling into LA, of a boy from small town Florida.
