Charley's is my kind of place - Willie Nelson

Take a step back in time and find true Aloha.

Charley's Restaurant and Saloon, established in 1969, is an award-winning, Maui Landmark.

Charley’s is a reflection of the culture of Maui, the essence of its foods, and the warm spirit of entertainment and Aloha.

We welcome you to a favorite community gathering place and celebrated destination spot.

Charley’s is located in Paia, Maui, Hawaii; a former sugar-plantation town that serves as the crossroads to the North Shore of Maui.  Known for its large waves and ideal conditions for surfing, windsurfing and kite-boarding, the North Shore of Maui is a water playground. The North Shore is also known for its rainforests, waterfalls and hiking.

Paia maintains its small-town, old Hawaii charm, and is now a bustling destination with restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and gelato.

At Charley’s you never know who might be sitting next to you. It’s long been a favorite hang-out for surfers, adventurers, writers, hippies, rock stars, artists, business leaders, celebrities, and all types, looking to get away and find the ultimate in Maui hospitality.

Reed Waddle

“Grateful.” The word perfectly encapsulates Reed Waddle’s musical perspective. It’s also the title of Reed’s first #1 in the Gospel music market by Chris Golden.

The award-winning singer-songwriter grew up in Destin, Florida. Although he loves having his toes in the sand, Reed has the soul of a troubadour and needed to follow the music. Armed with a guitar and a trusty van, Reed traveled the country, playing countless gigs and picking up accolades. After cutting five records, Reed secured a publishing deal with Bandwagon Red Music (Nashville). His poignant lyrics and memorable melodies prompted many Indy artists to record his songs, including Endless Summer, Reid Umstattd, Australian artist Adam Brand, and Rockland Road. Reed currently has the new single “Caroline”, by Rockland Road on many streaming services including Spotify.

He’s shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, Hall and Oats, Shawn Mullins, and The Dave Matthews Band, just to name a few. Some of Reed’s accomplishments include the grand prize at the NY Songwriters Circle Competition, and the 2012 Telluride Troubadour Contest.  He also was a finalist on “The Voice”, and American Idol. Reed is further grateful to release his latest album “Time the River” later in 2020.
